Why do not you challenge the making of bamboo lanterns that make holes in bamboo with bamboo drills? I think it will be a memory of friends and family travel ♪ ♪
I had so much fun with this activity! They had an English interpreter along to help out, and everything was explained simply, so it was easy to understand. There were different types of bamboo available to make a lantern with, from plain to cleanly sanded to painted ones (for an extra fee). There were a variety of templates to choose from (or you can bring your own), and the staff helped me choose the best drill bits to create my lantern image with. Thank you! The place is across the street from the Enchoen Chinese Garden, in a small building behind the large gift shop.
