Soyokyo Nakayama Dam is located in the upper reaches of the Gokase River, Japan's cleanest river. It is part of the Aso Geopark. You can enjoy it according to the season from spring to autumn. The meeting place is the former Soyo Town Hall, now the Soyokyo General Branch Office. It is about 30 minutes from Minamiaso and 40 minutes from Takachiho. The boarding point is a little difficult to drive because it is a narrow road that winds down, so we will travel by our company's car. Pearls come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. You can take out Akoya pearls with a diameter of 6 mm, and if you are lucky, 8 mm in diameter! Let's make your own strap with pearls using the pearls you took out ♪ ~ Flow of the experience ~ 1) Gathering and reception 2) Explanation 3) Pearl extraction experience - You will watch a DVD that explains the process of making pearls.・You will be asked to take a commemorative photo on the raft holding a net containing pearl oysters (in case of rain, the photo will be taken indoors).・Choose your favorite pearl oyster from the net.・Pearls will be extracted from Akoya oysters. - Polish the pearls with salt and cloth. We will measure the size of your pearl. ④ Strap making experience - Choose the metal fittings for the strap.・The staff will make a hole in the pearl.
