At that time, there were no schools, and Sashiko was passed down from parent to child. Therefore, there is not just one technique, but multiple techniques. The repair method is the same. Here we would like to introduce some of the sashiko mending and darning techniques. Really enjoyed the soba making class, the instructions were shown to me visually. My sensei tried her best to explain in English which I appreciated as well as teach Japanese words. 台風状況などで行程を決めかねる部分があったのですが、柔軟に対応いただけたおかげで不安が薄れました。ほうとう作り体験では、要所要所でうまくフォローいただけたおかげで無事美味しくいただけました。とり天を子供用にカットしたくてハサミをお借りできたり、食べきれなかった分を自己責任ですが持ち帰る容器をいただけたりしたので、とても助かりました。 0.5だけ減らしたのは、1組だけで体験していたからか？、体験中の写真を撮影して貰えていた参加者もいたようだったので、手が粉で汚れていて自分では撮れなかった写真が平等に撮っていただけたらより嬉しかったという点と、キャンセル料の発生が宿や他アクティビティより断トツ早くて、台風発生で安全面を考慮し旅行の催行を迷った際の一番のネックだった（これだけキャンセル料がかかるので）点が少し残念だったからなのですが、総じてとても楽しめました。ありがとうございました！

こんなアクティビティがあるのかと思い、今まで全く行こうとも思っていなかったメイド喫茶の世界に飛び込みました。メイドさんいわく「ここはあまり萌え萌えしてないし、普段から来やすいところですよ」確かに価格はファミレス並みなのに料理やスイーツが手作り。内装もこてこてしてないし、来客がオタばかりということなく、ごく普通の街中の喫茶店という感じ。メイドさんのおもてなしがマニュアル的ではない心くばりもあって久しぶりに居心地のよい喫茶店に出会った感じでまたリピしようと思いました（お店の関係者でもお店にレビューを頼まれたのでもありません）。
