We really enjoyed our sashiko workshop. Keiko is very friendly, and knowledgeable about the craft. As intermediate and beginner stitchers, my friend and I both learnt new tips for sashiko technique.
I had a great time doing this sashiko workshop. Keiko was very kind and explained how to do things very well. It may be more difficult if you don't have any prior experience with hand sewing but it is still doable with some patience and concentration. We did not finish the project but were given instructions on how to finish the piece. You learn all the skills you will need in the time allotted.
The shop was easy to find using the instructions given on the canoha website.
Since the course is for 1 to 3 people, we will provide instructions and explanations tailored to each individual, just like a private lesson.
Our store is located approximately 5 minutes from the north exit of Ogikubo Station, which is served by the Chuo Line, Sobu Line, and Marunouchi Line. The ``Church Street Shopping Street'' where the shops are located has a downtown-like atmosphere. Please enjoy your walk.
Although it is located along a shopping street, the shop is on the second floor, so it is a space that is one step away from the hustle and bustle. Please enjoy handmade and handicraft experiences while relaxing in a quiet space.
