The biggest feature is that the five and four kasuri patterns embody the idea of ``Forever and ever, until the end of the five (five) worlds (four).'' Yaeyama Minsa-ori goes through many processes to create a single piece of fabric, but just like in the past, many of these processes are done by hand with great care. At the Minsa Crafts Museum, customers can actually experience ``weaving'', one of the processes of Yaeyama Minsa weaving, for themselves.
