Plan description

"Noh Viewing Evening," a performance where you can enjoy authentic Noh, will be held at the Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater. An explanation of the plot and highlights of the day's performance will be provided, so even novices can easily enjoy the performance. The price is reasonable! We also provide a free subtitle commentary service, "Noh Support." This service is recommended for novices and foreigners who are new to Noh, as lines and commentary (in Japanese and English) will be automatically displayed on your smartphone or a rental tablet (limited number of units). Please take this opportunity to experience the traditional performing art of Noh.

Come enjoy the traditional performing art of Nohgaku in a casual atmosphere!

Traditional performing arts may seem a little difficult to understand, but this performance will not only provide an explanation of the program, but will also distribute synopsis materials and provide subtitle commentary, making it easy for beginners to understand Noh. The price is also reasonable! Free for high school students and younger!

The venue is located right next to Kenrokuen Garden, and there are plenty of sightseeing and cultural facilities in the area!

The venue, Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theatre, is located within walking distance of Kenrokuen Garden, a famous tourist spot in Ishikawa Prefecture, as well as numerous cultural facilities such as the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History. The Kanazawa Noh Museum, which displays Noh masks and costumes and also offers courses and experiences, is also within walking distance! Be sure to stop by during your sightseeing trip to Kanazawa!

If you arrive by car

20-30 minutes from Kanazawa-Nishi IC or Morimoto IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. Please use the Cultural Facilities Shared First Parking Lot (Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theatre Parking Lot / 128 spaces). *Please note that there is a limit to the number of parking spaces. If the parking lot is full, please use a nearby paid parking lot. If you are using a large bus, please contact Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theatre in advance.
