Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. Shinobi is the word which was commonly used in the feudal times,)The term "shinobi samurai" is not well-known, but you can be one of the few who knows the history and shinobi philosophy and mindsets. The shinobi samurai trained ninjas and lead ninjas as their mastermind.You will wear a ninja outfit to learn ninja techniques and learn samurai sword techniques and manners in samurai garb.

The canyoning tour is deep in the Nakatsu Valley. You can use a rope to go down to places that people normally cannot enter, and swim through the valley to clear the water. The beauty of the valley and the clarity of the water are overwhelming! Let's go on an adventure! All you need to bring is a swimsuit and a towel. We will lend you all the warm equipment (wetsuit, thick socks, gloves). Starting in March, you can jump into the water and play! The guide will take lots of photos and videos with a waterproof camera during the tour! Photos and videos will be given to you free of charge after the tour! If the canyoning tour is canceled due to bad weather or flooding of the river on weekends and holidays in May, July 13th to August 31st, and weekends and holidays in September, it will automatically be changed to a packraft tour or rafting tour. Both the packraft tour and the rafting tour are great activities that are just as good as the canyoning tour. The experience will be done wearing a kimono. This plan includes a souvenir of a deer brush rest.
