What is Hydrospeed? With Hydrospeed, you put fins on your feet and go down the river in a special one-person rubber boat. Since you don't use a paddle, you steer the boat with your body while kicking your feet. The view from just above the water's surface is impressive! You will overcome the waves while getting lots of splashes in your face. If you want to try a challenging river boat ride, this is the one for you. It is a little difficult, so it is recommended for those who are physically fit. ★You will be given a safety briefing and practice on how to row before starting the tour. Don't worry, your guide will support you during the tour. Eligibility requirements: Participants must be older than elementary school age. What to bring: Swimsuit (synthetic underwear for wetsuits is OK) Bath towel Water shoes (rentals available) Glasses bands for those who wear glasses (also available for purchase) Meeting time: Varies depending on the season. <April 12 - July 18, September 24 - October 31> 9:00 13:15 <July 19 - September 23> 15:15 Sample schedule: If starting at <9:00> Check-in/changing clothes 9:00- 9:30 Movement/safety briefing 9:30-10:00 Tour 10:00-11:30 Changing clothes/disbanding 11:30-12:00 *Times are approximate. (About 3 hours after the tour)◇Reservation conditions・Please make a reservation for 4 people or more◇Set contents・Table・Chairs・Stove (iron plate, net, etc.)・Tableware (plates, chopsticks, towels, tongs, etc.)・Fire starter (fire tongs, charcoal, fire starter, etc.)・Cooler bag・Food (meat, vegetables, yakisoba, etc.)※Drinks are not included. Rafting Winds Okutama Base 2-411-1 Yuzukicho, Ome City, Tokyo
Free parking is available. Take the Ken-O Expressway "Ome IC" or "Hinode IC" and take Prefectural Road 45 toward Okutama / Mitake in 20 minutes. Please come at least 10 minutes in advance.
A 15-minute walk from "Futamata Station South Exit" on the JR Ome Line. If you come by bus, take the Toei Bus bound for Yoshino from the bus stop in front of Ome Station, get off at the Okutamabashi stop, and walk for 1 minute. Please come directly at least 10 minutes in advance.
Please let us know in advance if you are arriving by a large bus.
