It is the only workshop where you can experience 100% of "draw by yourself and dye by yourself" rocket dyeing. A brush is attached to a pot of wax (WAX) and drawn directly on the cloth, so even beginners can easily draw illustrations and patterns. When dyed with dye, the part drawn with wax remains undyed, and the shades due to the difference in the thickness of the wax and the crack pattern that appears due to cracking create a unique texture of wax dyeing. You can easily enjoy a full-scale dyeing experience, and the entire process takes about 90 to 120 minutes. You can take the finished work home on the day. If you bring your own sketch, you can also make an original work. We will teach you in an easy-to-understand manner, so please enjoy the charm of wax dyeing to your heart's content.
They taught us patiently and diligently so it’s really recommended for beginners too. There are many design that we can chose from, you can be as creative as you can.

大変失礼ながら、浅はかな思考で参加前は
あまり期待しておりませんでした…。
（修学旅行などでこういった体験であまり楽しい記憶が無かったので…）
ただ、もう本当に楽しかったです！
自分の好きなように、絵も描けますし
絵が苦手な人向けには、下絵をなぞるような形で
絵がかけるようになっていて。
私は、半分は下絵をなぞって
残りの半分は、絵を参考にしながら自分で描いていったのですが
本当に楽しかったです。
久ぶりに、集中した時間でした。
ロウの使い方も、丁寧に教えてくれますし
おばあ様の存在も、田舎のおばあちゃん家に帰った時のような
あったかい気持ちを思い出させてくれました。
絵を描いた後に、染める作業はご主人がメインでやってくださるの
ですが、その作業自体も見ていて面白かったですし、
染めあがった後のローケツならではの味のある絵が
見えたときには、5人で大感激しておりました！！！
世界で1つの作品ができて
みんなの個性もみれて、とても楽しい体験になりました。
また京都に行くときは、体験したいです。

できるかなぁ〜と半信半疑で考えた下絵が、結構良い風合いで出来上がったので満足でした。結構作業が大変かと思いましたが、ご主人さんとお母さんのご協力もあり、お手軽に体験させてもらうことができました。今度は友人に紹介しようと思います。
