■Winter-only hot air balloon free flightUnlike "tethering" where you are fixed with a rope, you can experience "hot air balloon free flight" where you fly in the northern sky at the mercy of the wind. Hot air balloons do not have any engines or other power sources, and take off only with the buoyancy of the air heated by the burner. When the burner is not in use, you can experience a silent world, a mysterious walk in the sky without sound. Why not experience a special time in winter in Okhotsk that you cannot experience in your daily life?Hot air balloon free flights are available for one person or more. The hot air balloon free flight is an aerial walk of about 30 minutes. You can enjoy the great outdoors from the same perspective as the birds. You will touch the hot air balloon and have various experiences while being explained about the mechanism and principles of the hot air balloon. From the time you join the tour, you are also a member of the hot air balloon crew. After the hot air balloon free flight experience, you will purchase lunch at a convenience store and depart for a snowshoe tour to Kaminoko Pond. Snowshoe Trekking to Kaminoko Pond We depart for a snowshoe tour to Kaminoko Pond in a special car for snowshoe trekking guides. We head for Kaminoko Pond while enjoying a snow hike through the forest. You can see the wonderful Kaminoko Pond that can only be seen in the harsh winter. This is the first tour in Japan where you can do SUP with drift ice in the background. Drift ice can be seen floating in the Sea of Okhotsk, which is located in the northeastern part of Japan, every year. "Oh! Den" run by owner Ishiguro is one of the famous restaurants in Abashiri that you cannot enter without a reservation. He purchases fresh fish for the number of people making reservations that day, and always serves dishes using seasonal fish from the Okhotsk Sea. He is so thorough in his selection of ingredients that he sometimes goes out on fishing boats himself to learn more about fish, and even rents farm land to grow vegetables for his restaurant.
