Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. Shinobi is the word which was commonly used in the feudal times,)The term "shinobi samurai" is not well-known, but you can be one of the few who knows the history and shinobi philosophy and mindsets. Koyasan is a sacred place of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism founded by Kobo Daishi Kukai 1200 years ago. The entire area of Mt. Koya is called ``Kongobu-ji, the head temple.'' In particular, ``Okunoin'' and ``Danjo Garan'' are two of the most sacred places of worship. We will guide you through spots such as Danjo Garan, Okunoin, Koyasan Shichibenten, etc. in the style of a trainee monk. It is also recommended that you experience training in the same way as the former Shugenja, and visit the legends related to Kukai. This experience work is recommended for those who want to learn more about Koyasan. Half day and full day courses are available.

"Yaeyama Minsa" is a textile made of cotton, plain weave, and produced in Ishigaki City and Taketomi Town. The biggest feature is that the five and four kasuri patterns embody the idea of ​​``Forever and ever, until the end of the five (five) worlds (four).'' Yaeyama Minsa-ori goes through many processes to create a single piece of fabric, but just like in the past, many of these processes are done by hand with great care. At the Minsa Crafts Museum, customers can actually experience ``weaving'', one of the processes of Yaeyama Minsa weaving, for themselves. Our instructors will provide direct and detailed guidance, so even beginners can enjoy the experience with confidence.
