At Oiran Experience Studio Arare, you can experience being a gorgeous oiran in Kyoto. The Sakuraka plan for women costs 7,700 yen and includes dressing, natural makeup, hair setting, photography by a photographer, and 5 minutes of photography with a smartphone in the studio. Really enjoyed the soba making class, the instructions were shown to me visually. My sensei tried her best to explain in English which I appreciated as well as teach Japanese words. At the end I managed to eat my soba according to my taste. It was presented as cold dipping noodles. Enjoyed the session, my sensei was lovely and will come again! Good for solo travellers.
