In 1910, the Meiji era theater "Korakukan" was built as a welfare facility for the employees of the Kosaka Mine. The exterior of the building is Western-style, while the inside is purely Japanese. The most distinctive feature of this theater is its blend of Japanese and Western styles, which is rare for a theater. Staff dressed in black costumes will guide you through the Korakukan facility.
