2-theater common ticket [Korakukan + Kosaka Mine Office] This is a great value ticket that includes a play and backstage tour at Korakukan, a national important cultural property, and a tour of the Kosaka Mine Office and two facilities. The Meiji era playhouse Korakukan is still active for over 115 years and is still performing live (popular theater and other) performances. 2025 performances: April 23rd to July 27th "Shitamachi Kabuki Gumi" Leader Mimine Toru → Starring Shingetsu Kaito → Starring Hitomi Hiroshi (Starring Subaru Toma) will take turns performing for about one month each. August 1st to September 15th "Kanzaki Jun & 10carats" Fabulous Revue Boys. Actress Murai Mayumi and former OSK Nippon Revue Company member Subaru Mirai will appear. September 21st to October 28th "Gekidan Yumeiro" led by troupe leader Kenji Kano, former OSA Nippon Opera Company member Shiho Wakaki, special appearance by Mariko Endo. It is interesting that the performers change every year as this theater troupe was formed just for the Korakukan performance. The performances are enjoyable for all ages, so many customers come, including elementary school to high school students on school trips. Please enjoy watching a performance at Korakukan, a theater that is still in operation after a century. Kosaka Town in Akita Prefecture is a town that prospered because of the Kosaka Mine. In 1910, the Meiji era theater "Korakukan" was built as a welfare facility for the employees of the Kosaka Mine. The exterior of the building is Western-style, while the inside is purely Japanese. The most distinctive feature of this theater is its blend of Japanese and Western styles, which is rare for a theater. Staff dressed in black costumes will guide you through the Korakukan facility. Enjoy an eye-opening look behind the scenes of a truly living playhouse! Kosaka Town in Akita Prefecture is a town that prospered through mining. The Meiji-era playhouse "Korakukan" was built in 1910 as a welfare facility for Kosaka Mine employees. The exterior of the building is Western-style, while the inside is purely Japanese. It features a rare mix of Japanese and Western styles for a playhouse. You can experience the history and culture of Kosaka Mine by touring the Kosaka Mine Office, built in 1905.

This is a calligraphy experience focusing on kanji. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced calligrapher, you can create memories of your trip by performing calligraphy on a wall (2m long x 3m wide), which you can't usually write on. Experience the wabi-sabi that disappears in 15 minutes. It is a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, but you can choose to practice on calligraphy paper at a Terakoya desk and chair while sitting upright. Let's enjoy an experience that you can't usually have together. ~Experience flow~ ①Experience plan explanation and hearing. (5 minutes) We will ask you about today's plan while drinking tea. ②The teacher will create a sample. (5 minutes) The teacher will write a sample of the desired font and decide the activity content. ③First practice performance. (5 minutes) First, start with the activity with your own free idea. Get a feel for the expression of your thoughts. ④A lecture before the final copy and an explanation of the points to finish the work. (25 minutes) After receiving an explanation of how to use a large brush and the points, solidify the image on the paper and practice on special paper. You can feel free to experience mud dyeing, one of the processes of authentic Amami Oshima Tsumugi. We have T-shirts, shawls, eco bags, and handkerchiefs, so please come empty-handed. If you wish, we can change to the indigo dyeing experience. Please avoid white clothes as much as possible and wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

The Japanese sweets set is a plan that includes Japanese sweets on your favorite drink. Please spend extraordinary time at "Mifune Chaya" in the park. You can choose drinks from matcha, coffee, tea, apple juice, and orange juice. Japanese sweets vary depending on the season, so please contact the Yoko Museum for details.
