そば打ち歴25年という先生に、新設丁寧にそば打ちを教えていただきました。 そばは打ち初めてなこともあり、そば粉をこねるのも、麵の形に切るのも最初は上手にできませんでした。 それでも先生に和やかな笑顔で優しく教えていただけ、最後は何とかそれなりに形に上達(というほどでもないでしょうが)できたと思います。 おかげさまで、楽しみながら初めてのそば打ちを体験をすることができました。 そしてそばを打ち終わったあとがまた良かったんです。 自分で打ったそばを茹でてもらえ、食べることができるんです。 それも、おいしく上がった天ぷら付きで。 茹で上がったそばは、自分が切ったとおり、太いのやら細いのやらが混在してて。 そんなふうに見た目は悪いんですが、自分で打ったという愛着もひとしおのそばを、おいしく揚がったてんぷらと一緒に食べることができました。 そば打ちの先生、受付していただいた女性職員の方、会計のところにおられた男性職員の方、厨房でそばを茹でてくれた女性職員の方、皆さんにすごくよくしていただき、本当に感謝です。 施設の皆さんの対応も本当に暖かく、これを機会に自分でも自宅でそば打ちしてみようかなあ、と本気で考えているほどです。 ありがとうございました。
