This is an experience plan where you can touch a Japanese sword in a real martial arts dojo and learn martial arts. You can participate with peace of mind as you will be safely and carefully instructed by a qualified practitioner of the Yushin-ryu sword technique of the Koryu Iaido Dojo. The "Armored Warrior/Warrior" course will be an experience in which you will wear the martial arts uniform provided by our facility. (For women, we also have feminine kimonos like the one in the photo♪) You will wear our "armor". We also have a "tachi" sword for the armor, which will make your photos and videos look even better! If you wish, you can practice swinging and test cutting while wearing the "armor". You will experience the "swordsmanship", "iaido", "standing and maneuvering" and "test cutting" of the Yushin-ryu sword technique. Tennen Rishin-ryu swordsmanship, which began in the Edo period, is still passed down today, and at the Tennen Rishin-ryu Hino Dojo, students of the school hone their swordsmanship skills. You too can learn Tennen Rishin-ryu at an actual dojo. Swordsmen who trained in Tennen Rishin-ryu in Hino formed the Shinsengumi, known as the strongest group of swordsmen at the end of the Edo period, and were called the Last Samurai. By experiencing swordsmanship in Hino, the hometown of the Shinsengumi, you can feel the history and culture of the Last Samurai. The experience program is led by Masao Inoue, a descendant of Shinsengumi leader Genzaburo Inoue and chairman of the Tennen Rishin-ryu Hino Dojo. Not only can you learn the basics of Tennen Rishin-ryu swordsmanship with a wooden sword, but you can also actually use a Japanese sword, which is said to be the soul of the samurai. Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. We invite you to come to our clan dojo where real master practitioner and professional interpreters take charge of all workshops and seminars. This is good for people who want to get a deeper insight into our ninja and samurai cultures . We still handcraft our tools and weapons. Feel free to ask any questions as we have kept our shinobi samurai tradition for over 450 years.Our ancestors trained locals and their servants to be shinobi.(Ninja is a new word used in movies. This plan is centered around Nakanoshima Park. The bicycle ride takes about an hour. After the bicycle tour, you will actually wear a kimono and experience being a samurai or ninja. Enjoy Osaka by bicycle! A local guide born and raised in Osaka will guide you to fun and unique spots. We will not only provide you with sightseeing, but also a special experience where you can enjoy the city of Osaka with all your senses. The bicycles used on the tour are from "PALMGARAGE", which was founded in 1976. With a comfortable ride and stylish design, the journey itself is fun.
