You can learn how to use, draw and swing a sword in a real martial arts dojo, and at the end you can actually have a sword fight. The assistant instructor will translate in English. You can enjoy a "demonstration and straw cutting" using a real Japanese sword using Yushin-ryu sword techniques. A Yushin-ryu sword-holder from the Koryu Iaido dojo will safely and carefully instruct you, so please feel free to participate in the experience. The "Samurai Course" is an experience in which you wear an Iaido belt over your everyday clothes. (Please come in clothes that are easy to move in) <Experience on the day of the plan> ・Greetings (brief self-introduction), instructions on things to be careful about during the experience, etc. ・Changing into a uniform ・Samurai altar greetings ・Bending and stretching exercises ・Instruction on swinging a replica or wooden sword ・Watch the head of the school's kata demonstration ・Watch straw cutting by a high-ranking sword holder ・Mock battle with a high-ranking sword holder ・Experience caring for a real sword ・Go to a sword shop and experience sword appreciation and cutting experience Approximately 40 minutes

Approximately 15 minutes walk from JR/Keihan "Kyobashi Station". Kyobashi Station is approximately 40 minutes from Kyoto by Keihan train, and approximately 30-40 minutes by JR from Kobe or Nara. You can also come from Noeuchishiro Station on the Osaka Municipal Subway Tanimachi Line.
