If you want to fully enjoy Wazuka, the home of tea, we recommend the tea picking experience! Wazuka Town cultivates so many tea leaves that it is called the origin of tea, and even today it is a production area that produces just under 40% of Uji tea. At Wazukaya, the "Tea Soba Making Experience" using "Wazuka Tea" is very popular, but if you are going to make Cha Soba, why not try picking the tea yourself? At the Wazuka tea plantation, we offer a Wazuka tea picking experience from March to December. The set includes a tea picking experience and an experience of making tea soba, tea leaf tempura, persimmon leaf sushi, and kudzu mochi. You can enjoy the finished dish on the spot. Also, it takes about 30 minutes to get to Nara Park from Wazuka Town, so you can make plans that also include sightseeing in Nara.

[What is suridane in the first place? ? Suridane is an all-purpose seasoning that originated in Fujiyoshida and is based on red chili pepper with sesame and Japanese pepper. I always have it when I go to Yoshida's udon and hoto shops in Fujiyoshida and Kawaguchiko. Generally speaking, we think of ichimi and shichimi as the spiciness of udon, but here in Fujiyoshida and Kawaguchiko Yoshida's udon, we use suridane instead of ichimi and shichimi. Suridane is also called “Karami” or “Spicy” and is placed on counters and tables in the same way as tenkasu and soy sauce. It's not just spicy, but the umami is condensed into the spiciness. Common suridane is often moist, but the way it is made varies depending on the shop, so they have established their own unique taste by stir-frying in oil, adding soy sauce, sugar, and dried bonito flakes. increase. Super Spicy Takana-sensei's suridane is a completely original recipe that mixes [blended red pepper] and [black sesame]. In addition to udon, we recommend it as a versatile seasoning for various dishes such as ramen, hot pot, oden, and yakisoba. [Introduction of suridane making experience] Our store was originally the first suridane specialty store in the Fuji Five Lakes area, selling over 20 types of our original suridane. We have prepared a wide variety of spiciness and taste variations, and it has been featured in the media many times, probably because of its curiosity. The suridane base is made with non-spicy red pepper, sesame seeds, bonito flakes, and salt. Even if you add sesame oil to this, it's still delicious as suridane. is also recommended. In addition, we also offer spices such as cumin, coriander, and turmeric, as well as healthy grains such as rice bran, bean curd refuse, and amaranth. You can make your own original suridane, the only one in the world, so it is a highly recommended experience for those who visit Fujiyoshida and Kawaguchiko. Even for small children, it is popular because it feels like an experiment because it is made by mixing various powders. Why don't you make your own original suridane that is perfect as a souvenir for yourself or as a gift for your parents and friends? It takes about 30 minutes. Since it is an indoor facility, there is no problem even if the weather is bad. Please feel free to use it. [This plan is recommended for the following people] ・Those who are interested in suridane ・Those who are interested in making seasonings ・Those who want to enjoy with their parents ・Those looking for hands-on activities ・Those looking for activities in rainy weather direction

Yoshida's udon noodles are characterized by thick and chewy noodles, toppings made with horse meat and cabbage, and a soup made with miso and soy sauce. There are few local foods that are as popular as this one, and for a long time, "oneri for breakfast, barley rice for lunch, and pumpkin hoto for dinner" seemed to have been the standard for daily life in the rural areas of Koshu. In 2007, it was selected as one of the "100 Best Local Dishes of Rural Areas" organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, which are known in farming, mountain and fishing villages all over Japan and are widely supported by the people. Unlike regular noodles, hoto noodles do not need to be left to rest. Therefore, you will make the noodles by hand from the powder state. It will be quite a voluminous meal, so please come hungry. We also offer a dyeing experience where you can experience the traditional Japanese dyeing technique using natural materials, which can be used as a set with the hoto experience. In the dyeing experience, we will carefully explain each step, so those who are new to dyeing and those who come with children can participate with peace of mind. The natural feel of natural materials and the fact that you make it with your own hands will create a one-of-a-kind product that no one else can imitate. ◆Recommended for◆Those who want to try famous Yamanashi Prefecture dishesThose who want to make local Yamanashi Prefecture dishesThose looking for activities at Lake Yamanaka or Lake KawaguchiThose who want to experience cooking with their childrenThose looking for an experience programThose who are having trouble sightseeing on rainy daysThose looking for sightseeing in English*Due to the nature of our reservation system, all reservations are by request, but in most cases we can accept reservations at the time you wish.
