We started in Kamakura in 2017 with the aim of exchanging food culture through the experience of making bento boxes, which are full of elements of Japanese home cooking. We have had guests from over 20 countries so far, and we also have Japanese people who want to hold experiences for foreigners, enjoy sightseeing in Kamakura in a different way, and learn English in a fun way. Kamakura, just an hour by train from Tokyo, was the center of Japan in the 12th century. We will make Japanese home cooking in a relaxing environment surrounded by the sea and mountains. We will teach you how to make BENTO, a small box filled with sushi and home cooking, in English. A simple chopstick holder made with origami is also popular with children. The studio is about a 10-minute walk from Inamuragasaki Station, after taking the Enoden train that runs along the sea from Kamakura Station. Riding the Enoden train that runs between residential areas will also be a fun memory of your trip.
A bento class with many foreign guests. Cross-cultural exchange is also fun through the lessons.
You can enjoy sightseeing in Kamakura with your own bento as if you were on a short excursion. Inamuragasaki, where the studio is located, is one of the "100 selections of Fujimi in the Kanto region".
All sushi rolls make their own sushi. We will teach people who do not usually cook and children how to do it easily.
