Salmon migrate up the river to spawn from September to November every year. The Uyoro River is a little-known spot where you can watch salmon swimming up close. At its peak, it filled the river! It's worth a look. The Uyoro River walking path is an easy-to-walk course with gentle ups and downs. If you time it right, you might even spot a white-tailed eagle hunting for salmon. It is a long course to enjoy the marshlands from Lake Toro to Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Floodgate. The first half is a forest course with many trees even in the wetlands. In the second half, there are few trees in the marshland, and the original appearance of the marshland remains with many open landscapes. There is also a toilet break at Hosooka Canoe Port on the way. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the wetlands for a long time. And in the Sapporo area, which is blessed with water resources such as the Ishikari River, there are many waterfronts that you can get close to. Nonetheless, it may be difficult to play alone, and it may be difficult to assess the risks of playing in nature. This experience is a kind of boat called "inflatable kayak", and you can enjoy rowing a calm river or flat lake surface with a tool called "paddle" with a board called "blade" on both ends. The hull is designed to be inflated with air, so it has excellent mobility and transportability, and when deflated, it becomes smaller than a tent, making it a compact vehicle that can be easily transported even in a passenger car. Of course, the hull, which is the buoyancy body, has a multi-chamber structure, and even if one buoyancy cannot be secured, other buoyancy bodies will back it up, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind.
