It is a canoeing experience of about 17 kilometers on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Toya Station. It is a long course to enjoy the marshlands from Lake Toro to Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Floodgate. The first half is a forest course with many trees even in the wetlands. In the second half, there are few trees in the marshland, and the original appearance of the marshland remains with many open landscapes. There is also a toilet break at Hosooka Canoe Port on the way. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the wetlands for a long time. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave it to those who are not confident in the operation and physical strength of the canoe. 〜Experience Flow〜 (For the 5:00 course) Meet at 5:00 JR Senmo Line Toya Station Please be at Toya Station at the start time of the tour. (If you are late, please let me know.) When we meet, we will park the customer's car at Toya Station and move to Toro Station in my car. (Reception will be done inside the train) 5:30 Arrive at JR Senmo Line Toro Station When you arrive at Toro Station, go to the toilet and move to the starting point, Lake Toro. 5:50 Canoe preparation, safety talk When you arrive at Lake Toro, prepare for canoeing and give a safety explanation for canoeing. 6:00 Departure! When you're ready, let's go! First half, about 9 km. From Lake Toro to Hosooka Canoe Port. If you wish, we will also take a commemorative photo here during the experience. 7:30 Arrive at Hosooka Canoe Port! The first half is a canoe experience of about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Since Hosooka Station is nearby, we will take a restroom break here. 8:00 Second half start! The second half is about 8 km. From Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Water Gate. 9:20 Arrive at Iwahogi Water Gate! While the canoe is being put away, I will have you look at the marsh from a little higher ground. 10:00 Move from Iwahogi Water Gate to Toya Station and disband.
Forest scenery in the first half. The second half is the scenery of the open wilderness. The river in the first half and the second half is the same river, but you can enjoy the scenery that changes every time you go down.

Plan attractions
Kushiro river rafting, which is called the mecca of canoeing! The Kushiro River flows through Kushiro Shitsugen National Park. An area where the original appearance of the river remains, with few artificial objects such as bank protection work. The erosion and sedimentation of the river slowly changed the shape of the river, and even now the meandering of the Kushiro River is changing. Powered boats are not allowed here, so only rowing canoes are allowed here!
Since it is a long canoeing experience, you will have more opportunities to meet wild animals! Various animals live in the Kushiro Marsh. During the tour, we will go down the river while looking for everyone. In the second half, you will get used to looking for animals, and you may even find them before the guide!
It is also recommended for those who have few opportunities to come to Kushiro! This long course is recommended for those who do not have many opportunities to come to Kushiro because it is far away! If you go down this course, you can fully enjoy the Kushiro Marsh because it is a long course!
