We are a regional tourism coordinator and distributor who works to add value while refining the resources that become tourism in the region and to let more people know the charm of Hokkaido. Rather than being a general outdoor business operator, we are working to discover and season local ingredients to make them more familiar to everyone. I think that one of them is activity and adventure tourism. Our motto is to have fun playing with what we have made seriously. The main activity bases are the Kitaishikari / Minami Sorachi district around the Sapporo metropolitan area and the Shiribeshi district such as the Shakotan Peninsula. In addition, we are also good at the Kamikawa area around Asahikawa.
My boyfriend and I wanted an adventure & that's exactly what we got! This was a build-your-own plan with wakasagi ice fishing & tempura frying.
Despite the weather, Tateyama gave us the most unforgettable experience ever. You can tell he goes to incredible lengths to make sure his customers are happy. He was very apologetic that we couldn't do everything we planned due to the weather, but we understood.
Although there was a language barrier, he tried really hard to communicate with us & his personality made us laugh a lot. We would definitely book another adventure with him again!
We have been offering to everyone a program supervised by professionals who have created tourism from zero base, specializing in the creation of regional tourism in Hokkaido for the past 20 years. Therefore, we do not provide it only by theory or theoretical theory. After conducting "on-the-job verification", we will only show you what you can enjoy with peace of mind. On-site verification includes pick-up, driving routes for shuttle vehicles, program execution, and sharing of "WoW", and we only provide items that can be guided to customers from the perspective of "foreigners, young people, and idiots." Programs range from royal roads to fairly niche ones. At the request of consumers and travel operators, we can carry out on-the-spot verification at any time, and proceed with programming from verification of approval or disapproval.
There is no "sustainability" in activities that only win by one person. In order to borrow local resources and make effective use of them, it is important to have organic connections with the local area and organizations. I think this is the most important point in adventurous tourism these days. We believe that tourism is not just a field of industry, but a hub that connects local industries, economies, and people, and should be the leading batter of the regional economy. Therefore, our plan is programmed as an activity that has a slight economic ripple effect on the region. We would appreciate it if you could understand that the main reason why the program is not a complete program is that it is a plan that is strongly conscious of giving back to the economy firmly, not just using local tourism materials. I know.
"DMO" and "DMC" are taken up as a third organization that is neither a local government nor a tourism association. However, even if I promise this, the word tourism does not appear anywhere. Suffice it to say, it only means a management organization or company in the destination area. If we want to pursue the essence of DMO and DMC, I think that it should be a management organization with a broad definition of the key phrase tourism. In that respect, as mentioned above, tourism is an organic hub that connects regions, industries, and people, and we believe that it must be an autonomous management organization that gives a bird's-eye view of them. Our representative has been involved in the design of regional tourism business organization for many years from the micro-macro approach level. In addition, I have been involved in many of these ups and downs. It's a bit stubborn, but we're more of a private-sector-led DMC than just an activity operator. Therefore, we will continue to promote the creation of programs and human resources with tourism as the point of contact.
