The Arakawa River, where the gorge is located, looks like a rapid when viewed from National Route 113, but on this tour, you will canoe in a relatively calm area surrounded by granite. The field has a different flow than canoeing on a lake, which makes you feel nervous. After warming up, you will paddle upstream against the flow of the river in the first half. Come and worship at Nageire-do Hall, surrounded by the fresh greenery of spring's young leaves and the yellow foliage of autumn's yellow forests. While you can view Nageire-do Hall from the worship site at the foot of the mountain, we recommend walking the Shugendo path with all your heart and soul to purify your six senses and cleanse yourself of impurities, and to worship at Nageire-do Hall up close. Although the distance to worship at Nageire-do Hall is short, the steep Shugendo path involves climbing tree roots, climbing chains, and walking over rocky mountains. While you'll be making the same round trip, the descent is also dangerous. Explore Lake Two and Lake One of the Shiretoko Five Lakes on a ground walkway, then return via an elevated boardwalk. As you walk along the walkway, you can observe the nature that changes with the seasons. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. Roads and walkways may be closed due to brown bear sightings, snowfall, storms, etc. If we know of a closure in advance, we will contact you by mobile phone and offer you the option to cancel (free of charge) or an alternative course (same price), or a different date and time, if you wish. If the course is closed after you meet at the site, we will offer you an alternative course (same price) that is available for the remaining time.

Limited to one group per day. Even solo travelers can participate! We'll offer you a private night sky tour. Walk and play in the dark forests and plateaus at the foot of Mt. Daisen in Tottori Prefecture, a famous starry sky region. Avoid using lights as much as possible and sharpen your senses under starlight and moonlight. Remove your cell phone, watch, and other electronic devices and transition from the bright, lit nightlife to the unspoiled night forest. Enjoy a digital detox and space time. Spot signs and figures of nocturnal creatures, and if the time is right, observe fireflies and dung beetles. If the weather is good, you can enjoy stargazing, moon viewing, and meteor showers. In summer, you can even see the lights of fishing boats from the Sea of Japan. Unlike hiking or trekking, this tour will not involve strenuous walking or uphill/downhill climbs, as you'll experience the dark night. Anyone who can walk is welcome to participate.
