*Due to soaring prices, the tour fee will be increased by 500 yen from November 1, 2023. While enjoying a 25-minute tour of the ocean floor in a glass-bottomed boat, we will guide you to Hatenohama, an island made of only sand and coral fragments, located approximately 3 kilometers southeast of Kumejima. The half-day tour takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, and the stay at Hatenohama is 1.5 hours from April to October, and 1 hour from November to March. Recommended for those who want to visit other sightseeing spots or those traveling with small children. Snorkel rental is also available as an option! ☆Charm of Hatenohama☆1: The main attraction is the sea! The sea of Kumejima is known for its high transparency, but the sea of Hatenohama is by far the best. The emerald green sea can be seen up to the corals 2 to 3 meters below the sea surface. 2: Endless sandy beach The sight of a sandy beach that stretches out endlessly, illuminated by the sunlight, gives you a feeling of atmosphere that you cannot experience in everyday life. 3: Wide sky with a 360-degree view Since there is nothing around you, you can see the sky that extends 360 degrees. You can feel the majesty of nature just by looking at thunderclouds moving with the wind and contrails flying high in the sky.
The glass-bottom boat has a glass bottom, and you can enjoy the view of the seabed from there. The area around Hate-no-hama is a shallow inland sea created by the uplift of natural coral. Therefore, many corals spread to a depth of 2 to 3 meters from the sea surface without being affected by high waves from the outside, and many tropical fish and sea turtles live there in their natural state.
Hate-no-hama is an island made of only sandy beaches and coral fragments, which floats about 3 km southeast of Kume Island. There is nothing blocking your line of sight other than the hut and temporary toilets you use for breaks, and you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view. In addition, you are free to take home coral fragments and shells on the beach. There are also beautiful shells and corals that can be used as accessories! Also, pay attention to the hermit crabs, the residents of Hate-no-hama!

Time schedule
Half day tour 09:30 Pick up at your accommodation by shuttle car. After arriving at the port at 10:00, set sail for Hate-no-hama. 10:30 Arrive at Hate-no-hama. Free time. Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (approximately 1 hour from November to March) 12:00 Depart from Hate-no-hama. After arriving at the port at 12:30, we will send it to each accommodation.
