The "Sekida Mountains" where the Shinetsu Trail extends is Satoyama. Do you know about Shinetsu-Trail , north part of Nagano prefecture ?The Sekida Mountain ridges are one of the heaviest snowfall areas in the world. It is along the ridgeline of a forested area at an altitude of about1,000m.From early June to November you are able to walk the trail, as all the snow has melted.In early summer, the trail is beautiful with fresh green leaves and in late autumn as the days get colder, the leaves turn stunning colors.Currently, the trail has 6 Individual sections each between 8~12km. It takes approximately 6~7 hours to hike one section.Sections 1~6 total about 80km. Later this year, 4 new sections (7~10) will be opened making the trail 110km from start to finish.I plan to hike the entire trail, sections 1~10 before the first snow fall.Reasonable accommodation is available if you would like to stay overnight, and I can help with those arrangements if needed, so please feel free to ask.This is a serious hike, so please be certain of your fitness, capability, a nd equipment.If you are interested, or have any questions at all about anything, do not hesitate to contact me directly.

On this tour, you will visit the five shrines of Hokkosha, Fire Mikosha, Chusha, Okusha and Kuzuryusha, which are enshrined in Togakushi, and enjoy the ancient roads and beautiful nature of Togakushi that still remain. .. There used to be a sawmill here, and forestry workers and others lived in this deep mountain. In the forest of giant trees of beech and quercus crispula, walk along the promenade that was set up on the track traces of the past, and when you go near the Hyosawa River, which is the prefectural border with Nagano Prefecture, there is a huge wig that can be called the elder of the forest. The Shinanoji nature trail is a hiking course with a total length of about 10 km, which is a downhill path from the Mine Teahouse. Among them, walk about 7,5km to Kose Hot spring, which has many attractions. You can see the two famous waterfalls of Karuizawa (Shiraito Falls and Ryugae Falls) as you pass through the lush forest and larch forest. At the end, let's soak in the healing effect of the forest while taking a walk through the forest along Yukawa. This course is recommended for people who are not confident in their physical fitness, young or old, regardless of age or sex, as the entire journey is almost downhill. Nature trekking with a dedicated guide to the summit of Mt. Ko-Asama at the foot of Mt. Asama. Mt. Ko-Asama is a parasitic volcano at the eastern foot of Mt. Asama, with an elevation of 1,655m. As you head to the summit, your guide will explain the origins and vegetation of Mt. Asama. The round trip takes about two and a half hours, so even first-time climbers, regardless of age or gender, can easily join us. From the summit covered in volcanic gravel, you can enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Asama and a magnificent view.
