This is a limited activity available for one month only in September. Right in the middle of the Northern Alps, the roof of Japan... Why was Kurobe Dam built here? From Kurobe Dam to the bridge downstream of the dam, we will look up at the water discharge from Kurobe Dam from below and examine the contents of Tamori's program on NHK Saturdays at 7:30 pm. We will examine the economy of Kansai at the time and why Kurobe Dam had to be built in the rugged mountains where no human had ever set foot. We will also walk up the steep slope at the starting point of the Lower Corridor, so this course is recommended for intermediate climbers. If you change the end point downstream, this course is also recommended for beginners. You will definitely be impressed by the magnificent panoramic views of the hidden Kurobe Gorge.
The starting and ending points of the tour can be changed to the Kanden Tunnel Electric Bus Ogizawa Station ticket gate, the Electric Bus Kurobe Dam Station concourse, the Kurobe Cable Car Kurobe Lake Station ticket gate, etc. (The required time will change.) Please contact us.

During Golden Week, weekends, consecutive holidays, and summer, the KEPCO Tunnel electric bus is very crowded (even if you buy a ticket at Ogizawa Station, you may have to wait several hours to board the bus, which may not be viable as a tour). From the Nagano Expressway Azumino IC, take National Route 147 or the parallel Northern Alps Panorama Road to Omachi. From Omachi, take National Route 148, turn left at the Tawaramachi 1-chome intersection, drive about 15.2 km, and park at the Kanden Tunnel Electric Bus Ogizawa Station. Ogizawa Station ticket gate
About 40 minutes by bus from "Shinano Omachi Station" on the JR Oito Line, get off at the bus stop in front of Ogisawa Station.
