Northern Alps International Art Festival 2024 will be held from Friday, September 13th, 2024 to Monday, November 4th, 2024. View art on SUP upon request. If you wish to view it, you will need to purchase a viewing passport or individual viewing ticket. Kurobe Dam is amazing just to look at it! By walking with a guide, you won't miss any of the highlights, and listening to the guide's stories will make you even more impressed! Course overview Kanden Tunnel Electric Bus Kurobe Dam Station waiting room (meeting/starting point) → 220 steps of indoor stairs → Dam observation deck (dam explanation, etc.) → Outdoor stairs (closed in early spring, go back up 220 steps of indoor stairs) → Kurobe Dam Rest Passing in front of the House → In front of the Cenotaph for the Martyrs (Explanation of the Cenotaph, etc.) → Passing in front of the Kurobe Dam Rest House → Passing in the center of the dam embankment (Explanation of dam water discharge, etc.) → Passing in front of the Kurobe Dam Rest House → Kanden Tunnel Electric Bus Kurobe Dam Station waiting room (Dissolution/Ending point) The dam water release period is from around June 26th to around October 15th. Dam water release time: 6:00-17:30 in early summer, canceled due to weather.
The starting and ending points of the tour can be changed to Kanden Tunnel Electric Bus Ogisawa Station Ticket Gate, Electric Bus Kurobe Dam Station Concourse, Kurobe Cable Car Kurobeko Station Ticket Gate, Pleasure Boat Galve Ticket Gate, etc. (The time required will change)
