It is easy to get to, but it is full of a hidden feeling and is worth seeing. Next, you will experience picking wild vegetables. You will pick the most popular wild vegetable in the area, "mizu," while listening to a lecture from a wild vegetable picking expert. When you return to Mori no Eki, you will learn how to peel the wild vegetables you picked and cook them in the local way. Finally, you will have "gakko chakko" around a bonfire. In Akita, this is the term used to describe chatting with close friends over snacks such as gakko (pickles) and tea. This place is like Kyushu can not imagine. It is near the 3 prefectural boundaries of Kumamoto · Miyazaki · Oita, the center of Kyushu, located at the foot of Mt. The Yoshikura district of Tsubata Town is a mountain village located approximately 30 minutes by car from Kanazawa Station. In the mountains behind the Yoshikura settlement, there is a mountain path once used by local residents. The mountain path offers a rich natural environment and attractive spots, including a scenic spot overlooking the village, a bright deciduous broadleaf forest, a place to pick wild vegetables, a reservoir, and a bamboo grove. However, it is now largely deserted, and various issues need to be addressed, such as overgrown vegetation that obscures visibility and the spread of overgrown bamboo. At this event, we will examine the condition of the mountain path and consider the issues. We will then work to restore the path by trimming the vegetation and cutting down bamboo, thereby working to restore the lush satoyama environment. For lunch, we will enjoy delicious mountain produce, including wild vegetables and other locally grown vegetables that we have gathered together. Please join us in creating a vibrant satoyama, where you can enjoy the rich natural beauty of the satoyama while learning and experiencing ways to protect its abundance.
