We will make a key chain using Kyoto twisted tassels. Braid "Kumihimo" like "Your Name". Choose up to 2 colors of thread by yourself and make a set of four. Tie a knot and attach it to the tassel to make a key holder. Kanae-musubi is a type of knotting method that has been used for a long time in the field of Kyoto Kumihimo as a way to make wishes come true. The price may change depending on the type of twisted tassel. (5 00 yen) The charms shown in the photo can be attached separately for a fee (200 yen to 500 yen). This plan includes visiting a traditional Japanese townhouse, "Machiya," and participating in a tea ceremony in Kyoto wearing traditional costumes. Her husband is a descendant of Ihei Ito, who developed somei-yoshino, a cherry blossom variety that is world-famous as the national flower of Japan, at the request of Yoshimune, the eighth shogun of the Tokugawa family. In our classroom, in addition to the antiques given to us by various people and the tea bowls we collected ourselves, we also use old ones given to us by family members. Since sitting in the seiza style puts a lot of strain on the legs, we also offer an experience using a table and chairs called the ryurei style.
