This is an art calligraphy experience under the guidance of calligrapher Yuyu Makita. You can wear a calligraphy uniform, so there is no need to worry about getting your clothes dirty. First, practice on a piece of calligraphy paper the size of a shikishi. Makita will hold your hand and teach you how to use a brush. Next, you will dynamically draw art calligraphy with a large brush on a large piece of paper measuring 69cm in height and 136cm in width! Have you ever seen a huge calligraphy performance? Opportunities to experience calligraphy performance are limited, and it is something everyone should experience at least once in their life. In this calligraphy performance experience, you will be able to write on one full sheet of paper (69cm x 136cm) and two pieces of paper cut in half (34.5cm x 136cm). You can take home your finished work. At the end of the experience, please add your name to the giant calligraphy work that I created, measuring approximately 2.5m x 5m.
