In order to prevent the ink from staining, you will be asked to wear a uniform during the calligraphy experience. A uniform is a garment used in kendo, martial arts, and other martial arts. By wearing a uniform, you can experience calligraphy while immersing yourself in Japanese culture.
In addition to regular calligraphy, you can also experience art calligraphy on a full sheet of paper measuring 69cm x 136cm. Please write with your own sensibility while understanding the meaning of the kanji!
A professional calligrapher will give you a lecture on everything from how to hold the brush to how to move the brush. It's not just about writing by looking at a sample, so you can learn calligraphy in a more authentic way.
