Plan description

Located in Tokyo, this is a 3-minute walk from JR Omori Station. 1. Visit the shrine (especially at night, under the light of lanterns, it will be a precious memory). 2. A calligraphy workshop is held within the grounds of Omori Sanno Hie Shrine. In a traditional Japanese room, you can write kanji and kana using authentic brushes, washi paper, ink, and inkstones. All tools are provided, so please come empty-handed. You can take home your work (frames and seals are available upon request). The instructor is a Bunka Calligraphy Master and has also taught at several calligraphy schools in Tokyo. 3. In addition, simple tea utensils will be provided upon request, so you can also experience the tea ceremony by preparing your own matcha. 4. On the second floor of the same building, an Iwama-ryu Aikido class is held. If your schedule allows, you can also observe and participate in the class. In addition to physical techniques, weapons techniques (using swords, canes, and daggers) are also included. 5. Nearby, Omori Shell Mound Park is a great place to stroll and experience the Jomon period. Because it is not a famous Japanese landmark, you can quietly experience Japanese culture in a hidden, sacred place known only to those in the know. The precious photo opportunities and videos are sure to become fond memories of your trip. *Experiences and messaging will be available in Japanese and English only.
