A private trekking tour with a guide around the sights of Mt. Nokogiri, a lesser-known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. This is a special tour that allows you to enjoy the sights of Mt. Nokogiri, a unique mountain where the remains of the stone-cutting industry that supported the region and the Buddhist world of Nihon-ji Temple are back to back, all in one day! We start by walking through the streets of Kanaya, which flourished as a stone-cutting industry from the Edo period to the Showa period, and then head to the Nokogiriyama Ropeway Station. After entering the grounds of Nihon-ji Temple and worshiping the "Hyakushaku Kannon," we trace the scenery and history of the remains of the quarry, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry and now stands like an ancient ruin. After that, we proceed while listening to the guide's explanations about the sights such as the famous photo spots "Peeking into Hell" and "1,500 Arhats," and the tallest "Great Buddha" in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), and finally descend the mountain by ropeway and disband. *There will be a lunch break along the way.

Nokogiriyama is known as a lesser known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. With its jagged ridgeline resembling the teeth of a saw, and the remains of the quarry where Boso stone was quarried by the stone-cutting industry until the Showa era, it looks like an abandoned building, and this otherworldly space that appears in the middle of nature has become popular. On this tour, you will pass through the streets of Kanaya, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry, and climb the "Sharikko Road," a road that once transported quarried stone, with a guide. While enjoying the climb, which is low above sea level but has a large elevation difference, you will feel the breath of the craftsmen of the time, and trace the history of how Boso stone supported Japan's modernization and declined over time.

Nokogiriyama is known as a low-profile mountain on the Boso Peninsula. On its southern side is the grounds of Nippon-ji Temple, the imperial temple of Emperor Shomu, which will celebrate its 1,300th anniversary in 2025. This plan is a half-day tour to experience the charms of Nokogiriyama Nippon-ji Temple, starting from JR Yasuda Station, walking along the main approach to the temple and climbing Nokogiriyama from the mountain gate. Once inside the Nippon-ji Temple grounds, you can enjoy the mystical atmosphere of the tallest Buddha statue in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), as well as the 1,500 arhat statues arranged on the mountainside. Climb the stairs to the top of the mountain, pass by the famous photo spots "Hell Peek" and "Hyakushaku Kannon", and then use the ropeway to return down the mountain.

We will also guide you to steamed food shops, sushi and seafood that only locals know, and restaurants that suit you. Kannawa Onsen is a hot spring town. Take a break for about 30 minutes at a stylish cafe, using local ingredients for local consumption. We will drive you to Umi Jigoku, where Beppu's unique blue hot springs flow, and explain the hot springs and history. Finally, enjoy the beautiful private hot springs recommended! "Enjoy the scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Shirakami-Sanchi" Walk the mountains of Noshiro in full pilgrimage attire with Noen Haruharu, a guide from Ryusenji Temple! You can hear about history and faith from your guide, and about trees and flowers from Noen Haruharu. Experience Buddhism by walking through the mountain scenery of the four seasons. In this plan, you will be able to enjoy the performance of congratulatory words by the priesthood, the shrine maiden dance, and the Kagura drums in the Kagura hall. You will also experience Tamagushi worship. * This plan is not baptism. It is a prayer for your own health and a ritual to cleanse yourself. Comes with an English pamphlet. This is a food culture experience in Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, and a walking tour of the Ushu Kameda Domain and Kameda Castle Town. In the morning, you will make traditional Hina mochi (rice cakes) at a community center in Kameda Town. Knead rice flour and wrap it in red bean paste, then stamp the mochi with Domyoji powder colored with food coloring. Put the Hina mochi you made in a steamer and once it's complete, enjoy it during your lunch break. You can bring your own lunch or order a bento. In the afternoon, you will take a walking tour of the town under Kameda Castle. The course is from Amasagi Village to Kameda Castle Ruins to Amasagi Shrine to Myokeiji Temple to Mogami Town to Ryumonji Temple to Amasagi Village. Walk with a guide through the streets built in the Edo period and enjoy the history and seasonal scenery!

This is a day tour that walks around Tadanoumi, Takehara City. Tadanoumi is closely related to the name of Taira no Tadamori (the father of Taira no Kiyomori). After climbing Mt. Kurotaki with a guide and seeing the beauty of the many islands in the Seto Inland Sea like a diorama, you can enjoy seafood rice bowls topped with plenty of fresh fish.
