This plan is for children only, where you weave the weft into the warp threads prepared in advance. You can experience the traditional crafts of Kagoshima. Please join us for a hands-on experience where you can casually experience the beautiful colors of Oshima Tsumugi and the joy of hand weaving. *Recommended for children aged 6 to 10 (height 120 cm or more). After the experience, you can stroll through the elegant Japanese garden, which changes with the seasons, and the Amami-style garden, which recreates the primeval forest of Amami.

In this plan, you will be able to enjoy the performance of congratulatory words by the priesthood, the shrine maiden dance, and the Kagura drums in the Kagura hall. You will also experience Tamagushi worship. * This plan is not baptism. It is a prayer for your own health and a ritual to cleanse yourself. Comes with an English pamphlet. (We will pray at the same seat as ordinary worshipers who receive normal prayers.) * The priest will perform the above Shinto ritual at the Kagura-den together with the general public, so the waiting time is up to 30 minutes due to circumstances. Vegetable dyeing refers to the process of dyeing cloth by extracting pigments from flower petals, grass, and tree branches. This vegetable dyeing is also used in some of the dyeing techniques of Oshima Tsumugi. At Amami-no-Sato, you can actually dye handkerchiefs and other cloth products with plant dyes to create original scarves in deep colors. After the experience, you can take a walk in the elegant Japanese garden that shows the expressions of the four seasons and the Amami-style garden that reproduces the virgin forest of Amami.

If you would like to try making matcha, we will teach you. It will also be a valuable opportunity to enjoy the matcha that you have made yourself.
