In this experience, you can observe it up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will give you easy-to-understand instructions. Next, you will make your own original flower vase using the wood turning wheel and plane that the craftsmen actually use. You can experience full-fledged wood sawing through making single flower vase. Most of the shapes are carved by yourself, so it's a little bit difficult, but it's fun! ! ! A workshop tour where many Kutani ware craftsmen train to learn about their deep love and energy for manufacturing. Many craftsmen involved in Kutani have studied under the first and second generation Tokuda Yasokichi, and many of the former master craftsmen. I have been training in this kiln. A beautiful color technique called "Yosai" is inherited by such a famous Kutani ware family. The colors created by the first generation have been passed down for three generations. It is the energy applied to the work that supports its beauty. From the words of Mr. Yajukichi 4th, "We are born from the soil and return to the soil. We will mold the soil, which is the mother earth, and return to the soil," to each work. I have a deep feeling. Miyayoshi Seito boasts one of the largest scales in this Kutani ware production area, creating a truly diverse range of shapes, from small chopstick rests to large urns and plates with a diameter of 50 cm or more. That's no wonder, Miyayoshi Seito's factory boasts the best types of molding in the production area, and you can use various types of tools, machines, and human hands to shape pottery. In this program, you will experience making pottery on a potter's wheel and visit the factory, which is the most basic of Miyayoshi pottery.
