Create shapes with your own hands! You can experience the potter's wheel! A professional kiln that creates the "shape" of Kutani ware and creates the base material. Miyayoshi Seito boasts one of the largest scales in this Kutani ware production area, creating a truly diverse range of shapes, from small chopstick rests to large urns and plates with a diameter of 50 cm or more. That's no wonder, Miyayoshi Seito's factory boasts the best types of molding in the production area, and you can use various types of tools, machines, and human hands to shape pottery. In this program, you will experience making pottery on a potter's wheel and visit the factory, which is the most basic of Miyayoshi pottery.
A potter's wheel experience, which is also a major method of shaping pottery. Many of you may have seen on TV how the clay is formed on the pedestal that spins around. The experience of creating shapes with your own hands is exactly the charm of pottery itself. On the day of the event, we will try to make small bowls such as guinomi, sobachoko, and teacups. The finished pottery will be baked in the kiln and will be received at a later date (shipping is also possible). Why don't you try it once?
At Rokuro Kobo, Kutani ware on a white background, which is baked daily at Miyayoshi Ceramics, is on display. Kutani ware has a strong image of painting, but there are not many opportunities to see Kutani ware before it is painted side by side. If you dare to look at it innocently, you will notice the difference in shape and the texture of the base material. Please take a look at the valuable exhibition.
There are many ways to form Kutani ware other than the potter's wheel that you can experience. At Miyayoshi Seito's factory, you can see various molding methods other than the potter's wheel. This is how pottery can be made...! And just the scales from my eyes. Please enjoy the factory tour of Miyayoshi Ceramics, which boasts the best type of molding in the production area.

Enjoy your own time! Get away from everyday life and enjoy your own time. It is an experience to immerse yourself in the world of potter's wheel making toward the potter's wheel and use your own hands to create your own shape.
Electric potter's wheel experience that even beginners can enjoy! Since there is time for practice in this course, you can experience making a container with peace of mind with the gentle lectures and follow-ups of the kiln craftsmen.
You can see the unpainted container that you can't usually see! Since it is rare to see Kutani ware before it is painted side by side, this kiln will dare to exhibit a beautiful skin-colored "unglazed base" and an innocent figure "Shirakutani". When you look at it, you will notice the difference in shape and the texture of the base material. Please take a look at the valuable exhibits in the Kutani ware production area.
