In addition to being able to see and purchase Kutani ware at the shop on the 1st floor, the atelier on the 2nd floor of the machiya-style pottery shop is open to the public, allowing visitors to see Mr. Uchida painting. One of the characteristics of Komatsu's tea ceremony culture is that Maeda Toshitsune, who retired to Komatsu Castle, encouraged not only samurai families but also merchants and townspeople to practice tea ceremony. Toraya Tokiten also held a tea ceremony at the Otabi Matsuri, Komatsu City's largest festival, which is held every May for 250 years. In this program, Mr. Yukio himself makes tea at the end of the painting experience.
