In this program, while receiving lectures from traditional Kutani ware craftsmen and instructors, you can experience painting with Kutani Gosai (green, yellow, dark blue, purple, red) on a white base baked in a Miyayoshi pottery kiln. We will tour the factory. * For the second and subsequent times, if you wish, you can shift the factory tour time to painting time. ～ Flow of the day ～ 9:50 Meeting / Reception Explanation of Miyayoshi Ceramics 10:00 Site tour (10 minutes) Tour of the manufacturing site of various materials such as potter's wheel and other casting. 10:10 Overpainting experience (50 minutes) While receiving lectures and follow-ups from the traditional craftsmen and instructors of this kiln, you will be asked to draw with the overpainting paint according to the drawings you designed in advance!
The charm of Kutani ware is that the colors are vivid and colorful. The colors and paintings are "Gosai-te (Kutani Gosai)": A style in which colorful colors of green, yellow, purple, navy blue, and red are painted, and the motif is realistically drawn in the center of the container. There is a feature in. The experience of drawing your own design using your own hands with Kutani Gosai is exactly the charm of Kutani ware. On the day of the event, we will receive a lecture and follow-up from a traditional craftsman who belongs to the kiln, and will challenge painting on the container baked in the kiln. The finished container is baked in this kiln and received at a later date (shipping is also possible). Why don't you experience it?
Here, Kutani ware on a white background, which is baked daily at Miyayoshi Ceramics, is on display. Kutani ware has a strong image of painting, but there are not many chances to see Kutani ware before it is painted side by side. If you dare to look at it innocently, you will notice the difference in shape and the texture of the base material. Please take a look at the valuable exhibition. * Although it is held irregularly, works designed by Kutani ware artists will also be exhibited in the Garry, where you can enjoy the charm of Kutani ware.

At the Miyayoshi Ceramics Factory, you can see various molding methods other than the potter's wheel. "Is it possible to make pottery like this ...!" Plan attractions
You can see the unpainted container that you can't usually see! We will exhibit "Shirakutani" before it is painted. When you look at it, you will notice the difference in shape and the texture of the base material.
