This is a tea mat weaving experience at the Genta Dyeing and Weaving Studio. Just choose your favorite color of thread and weave! From small children to the elderly, even first-time weavers are welcome♪ Foreigners can also enjoy weaving with hand gestures and go home. Vegetable dyeing refers to the process of dyeing cloth by extracting pigments from flower petals, grass, and tree branches. This vegetable dyeing is also used in some of the dyeing techniques of Oshima Tsumugi. At Amami-no-Sato, you can actually dye handkerchiefs and other fabrics with plant dyes to create original handkerchiefs in deep colors.
