At "Satsuma Tinware Iwakiri Bikodo", both adults and children can experience making tin plates that are larger than usual (14.5 cm in diameter). The time is about 1 hour, so you can participate in the interval between sightseeing. We can accommodate 1 to 10 people at a time. Why don't you make one original tin dish in the world?

Experience traditional crafts unique to Satsuma

At the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, "Satsuma tinware" became widely known as a special product of Satsuma, with the improvement of its technique as a craft under the guidance of Shimazu Nariakira. Decades of experience are required to acquire the processing technology. Please experience the traditional crafts created by the history of the Satsuma Domain, which cannot be found anywhere else.
