In this pottery atelier, a renovated 120-year-old townhouse located in the quiet streets of Tanimachi Rokuchome, Osaka, you can enjoy a full-fledged pottery experience using hand-building or an electric potter's wheel. The host, who is a potter, will carefully guide you, so even beginners can participate with confidence. The experience lasts about 2 hours. It is a private experience with a small group of up to 4 people, so you can concentrate on creating your own work in a calm space. The clay used is from Shigaraki, Shiga. You can freely create teacups, small bowls, mugs, etc. The atelier is located a short walk from Tanimachi Rokuchome Station on the Osaka Metro, near Karahori Shopping Street, making it an easy location to stop by in between sightseeing. Why not relax from the fatigue of your trip by touching the clay and spend some time away from your daily life "making things"? The completed work will be carefully delivered to your home at a later date after drying, glazing, and firing (delivery fee varies depending on region). Enjoy a one-of-a-kind piece of pottery that you can use in your daily life as a memento of your trip.

Miyama Porcelain Yumi is an experienced recreation facility built in "Satsuma-yaki no Sato Miyama" in Hioki, Kagoshima Prefecture. Enjoy successive Isokichi works with luxurious commentary! Ikichi Fukaka Pottery Kiln is located in Yawata, where kilns for making figurines are concentrated. It has roots that the first generation was a pottery specializing in ceramics, and even now, we are doing everything from creating the ceramics to painting. This program is a studio tour in which Ms. Ikika Asakura, the daughter of Mr. Isokichi Asakura, the fourth generation, explains the studio, gallery, and works. At the end of the tour, you can actually use the works of the kiln and taste the coffee. *For foreign nationals: Information on the day will be in Japanese only.

This is a full-scale archery experience plan supervised by archer Ando Kotaro, who has appeared on many TV shows and radio programs! Would you like to try traditional archery that is a little different from Kyudo? Did you know that Kyudo did not exist during the samurai era before the Edo period (such as the Sengoku and Muromachi periods)? It will satisfy a wide range of levels, from the basics for beginners to practical practice of attaching an arrow to a waist and rapid shooting practice for those with Kyudo experience. Even those who are not physically strong can enjoy archery with peace of mind, as we also lend out short and weak bows and accommodate experiences while sitting on a chair. The event will be held outdoors.

I'm interested in Kyudo. But I feel that archery (Kyudo, Yabusame) is too difficult to do all at once. I'd like to try shooting a bow for now. I've tried shooting at other archery ranges, but I can't hit the target. I want to get a little better. For those of you who feel this way, we will teach you the principles of the bow, how to aim, tips for hitting the target, how to shoot, and other basic techniques according to your purpose, whether you want to start shooting at a shihan-teki or want to shoot a o-yumi in the future. It uses a shorter and weaker bow than Kyudo, so even beginners can enjoy it, but it is deep and even serious archers will be satisfied as you can aim at targets at the official distance of shihan-teki competitions.
