The destination, Shirahige Shrine, is a power spot that Lake Biwa is proud of! It is also called Omi's Itsukushima because of the large torii gate floating in the lake with Okishima in the background. It is the oldest shrine in Omi, and as the name suggests, it is known as the god of longevity and long life, and is also the "god of guidance" for all business, including safe navigation, which is perfect for SUP. The large torii gate is also said to be a landmark for worship by boat. There are many things to see in the shrine grounds, so be sure to visit and then head home!

At Mitsuishi Fudoson, a traditional esoteric Buddhist temple that worships the waterfall where Kobo Daishi trained at the age of 21, we will practice rituals at the goma and make our wishes come true.
