First, you will change into a kimono. It takes 30 to 60 minutes to change into a kimono, and the tea ceremony experience takes about 40 minutes. After the tea ceremony experience, you can enjoy sightseeing in Uji until 16:30, when the kimono is returned.

You can experience an authentic tea ceremony in a tea room. Watch a traditional tea ceremony demonstration by a tea master and then try it yourself, tasting your own brewed Uji matcha tea accompanied by tea and sweets.
Choose from a wide range of cute kimonos and yukatas By wearing a kimono and experiencing tea ceremony, you can experience the traditional world view. There are various kimonos and yukatas, so you can choose your favorite design.
After the experience, you can also go sightseeing in Uji. Uji has many tourist attractions, including the World Heritage Site of Byodo-in Temple and Ujikami Shrine.
Please contact us in advance to discuss your photography plan. As an option, a professional photographer will take a commemorative photo of your tea ceremony experience. There is a Family Mart convenience store on the first floor of Kimono Rental Mai. Our shop is on the third floor of the same building.
There are many paid parking lots in the surrounding area. We do not have free parking.
