After arriving at Chozenji Temple grounds, you will be welcomed with a Nembutsu prayer and a welcome drink by the chief priest, and then tour the Ishiyama Battle Memorial Hall within the grounds with commentary from the chief priest. This flag was used during the ``Battle of Ishiyama'' (1570-1580), a battle between Oda Nobunaga and his followers at Honganji Temple. At the request of the third chief priest Enzai, his followers, mainly members of the Fujiwara clan, organized Kihata-gumi, and along with the Mori army, they formed the Kihata-gumi. After setting sail and going to support Ishiyama, we will enjoy copying sutras in a vault overlooking a Japanese garden with the motif of ``heart.'' Afterwards, enjoy copying sutras in front of a beautiful Japanese garden. Sutra copying is a form of meditation. Meditation time will be a time to heal your everyday stress. Please enjoy authentic Chozenji Buddhist cuisine along with the beautiful garden and furniture. This is a special cuisine and space that can only be enjoyed here. ~Flow of the day~ 10:00 Gather at JR Takehara Station. Move to Chozenji. Sutra copying experience and visit to the Ishiyama Battle Memorial Museum, guided lunch at 11:30 AM Shojin Kaiseki cuisine while looking at the magnificent folding screen and Japanese garden After this course, you will have free time. We recommend a free stroll through the Takehara Old Townscape Preservation District. Takehara City (Hiroshima Prefecture) Townscape Preservation District, known as the Japan Heritage ``Takehara Old Townscape Preservation District'' and ``Aki's Little Kyoto'', has been designated as one of the top 100 cityscapes, and was also designated as a Japan Heritage Site in 2019. Ta. Takehara is said to have first been cultivated as a manor land for Shimogamo Shrine in Kyoto during the Heian period under the Private Property Law of Konta Eiten. During the Muromachi period, Mori Motonari's third son Takakage (who was adopted by the Kobayakawa family and became Takakage Kobayakawa) spent his childhood there. Takakage was one of the people who received the ``Three Arrows' teachings'' from Motonari and supported the Mori clan system. Later, in the late Edo period, it developed through salt fields and sake brewing, and it is said that it boasted an 80% share of Hiroshima prefecture's salt production at the time. There are three sake breweries: Taketsuru Sake Brewery, Fujii Sake Brewery, and Nakao Jozo. Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whiskey, known as the ``father of Japanese whisky,'' is from Takehara. Taketsuru Sake Brewery, Masataka's birthplace, still operates in the townscape preservation district to this day. Around this time when salt and sake were developing, Rai Sanyo, a Confucian scholar and author of ``Japanese Foreign History,'' which had a great influence on the patriots at the end of the Edo period, was active. The former home of Sanyo's grandfather, Kiyoshi Yoriyoshi, is located in the townscape preservation district. (Excerpt from the Japan Historical Travel Association) At the annual Takehara Longing Road, the town is beautifully illuminated with candlelight and bamboo lanterns set in the townscape preservation district. The atmosphere of the old house leaking through the lattice door is also very atmospheric, giving you the illusion of having traveled back in time.

This is a private kagura performance where a small group of 1 to 10 people can enjoy Iwami Kagura, a traditional performing art that has been passed down in the western part of Shimane Prefecture since ancient times, at Ryugozen Shrine in the hot spring town of Yunotsu, Shimane Prefecture. Iwami Kagura is a dance that has been practiced since ancient times in the Iwami region of western Shimane Prefecture, mainly based on Japanese mythology, and is danced to lively music while wearing gorgeous costumes woven with gold and silver threads and expressive masks. It is a traditional performing art that has been passed down. With this plan, you can enjoy a local sake pairing from ``Wakabayashi Sake Brewery,'' a sake brewery in Onsentsu that has been in business for over 100 years, in a private space limited to one group per day and a maximum of 10 people. In addition, the ``Kagura Cup,'' the cup into which sake is poured, is handmade by ``Kameya Ceramics,'' a company that manufactures the stone tiles that decorate roofs in the Iwami region, and you can take it home as a souvenir after viewing it. (For customers who prefer non-alcoholic drinks, we use Iwashimizu, Wakabayashi Sake Brewery's brewing water, and also enjoy ``mulberry tea,'' a material used to make Sekishu washi paper used in the production of Kagura masks. *Seasonal) (The tea leaves may change depending on the situation) If you like tradition, history, and theater performances, you can enjoy it regardless of your age or nationality.

When most people think of Takarazuka, they think of the Takarazuka Revue, but surprisingly, there are not only operas, but also hot springs, memorial halls, and other attractions around Takarazuka Station. After the performance in Takarazuka, why don't you take a walk around the city from a different side with a tour guide? There will surely be new discoveries! ~Time schedule~ 13:00 [Meet in front of the Hankyu Takarazuka station ticket gate] The tour starts here! Although the road is flat, you will walk about 2 kilometers, so please wear comfortable shoes on the day. 13:10 [Birthplace of Carbonated Rice Crackers and Wilkinson Vending Machine] The popular carbonated water "Wilkinson Tansan" when drinking a highball. Did you know that this "Wilkinson Tansan" originated in Takarazuka? In front of Takarazuka Onsen, there is an all-Wilkinson vending machine only here in Japan. 13:20 [Takarazuka Onsen Hotel Wakamizu] During the Showa era, Takarazuka Family Land and hot springs were located along the Muko River, and it was a prosperous resort. There are only a few hotels in operation now, but the atmosphere of the hot spring town of yesteryear still lingers in the air. 13:40 [Takarazuka Ohashi] After passing Takarazuka Onsen, a large tower apartment is currently under construction on the site where the "Takarazuka Hotel", which was founded in 1923, used to be. Please take a look at the town of Takarazuka, which has been renewed with the changing times. The view from Takarazuka Bridge is a great photo spot. The set of Takarazuka Opera, Hankyu Railway and Mukogawa can only be seen here. The sidewalk of Ohashi is also spacious, so you can take pictures slowly. (Every 30 minutes on the hour, the fountain "Big Phoenix" rises from the Muko River, so if you're lucky, you can see it.) 13:55 [Tezuka Osamu Memorial Museum] Did you know that Mr. Osamu Tezuka was actually from Takarazuka? Uka Born in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture in 1928, I lived in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture from the age of 5, when I was just starting to understand things, to my sensitive boyhood, and until I was about to enter adulthood when I was 24. A museum has been built in Takarazuka to commemorate his achievements, not only as a city where he once lived, but also as a city that gave the underlying theme of all Tezuka manga. 14:40 [Hana no Michi] I think it goes without saying for Takarazuka fans, but it seems that Hana no Michi also means a flower path to the Takarazuka Grand Theater. It is truly a “flower path to the world of dreams”. There are bronze statues of opera performances such as "The Rose of Versailles" and a bronze statue of "Ichizo Kobayashi", the founder of Hankyu Corporation and the Takarazuka Revue. 14:50 [Takarazuka Hotel] There is a newly relocated Takarazuka Hotel in the middle of Hananomichi. In 2009, the Takarazuka Hotel was selected as the official hotel of the Takarazuka Grand Theater with the concept of "continuing your dreams here." Please take a look at the dignified appearance. 15:00 [Arrival at Takarazuka Station]
