Plan attractions
Mount Fuji 5th Station Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan. It has a different atmosphere when viewed from afar than when viewed up close. When you look up at the summit of Mt. Fuji from the closest point, you can feel its majestic beauty.
Mount Omuro The lush green "Matcha Mountain" of Mt. Omuroyama in summer was the location for the anime movie "Your Name"! Mt. Omuroyama is the most important natural attraction in Izu Kogen and the symbol of Izu Kogen. From the sky, it looks like a large bite of matcha cake with a spoon. It is also the prototype of the giant matcha cake. Mt. Oishi, 580 meters above sea level, is a mountain of volcanic rubble deposited by volcanic eruptions, and you can take a cable car to the top of the mountain. From the top, you can see the Izu Kogen and Sagami Bay, and if the weather is good, you can even see Mt. Fuji. Mt. Omuroyama turns green in midsummer, and the green grass and the sea breeze blowing through the grass create a different Izu landscape from every angle, making for a truly spectacular view.
Atami Fireworks Festival Atami Port - Atami Summer Festival - Watch the Fireworks at Sea on a Summer Boat The Atami Fireworks Festival is a nationally famous fireworks festival that is held regularly throughout the year. Among them, the "Big Sky Nagar" is a silver fireworks that is launched from the entire venue, and the entire night sky shines brightly. It is an event unique to Atami, and the fireworks are gorgeous and will remain as an unforgettable memory. Number of fireworks launched: Approximately 5,000 The fireworks venue is surrounded by mountains and is basin-shaped, so the sound of the fireworks reverberates and the Niagara Falls reflected in the sky is very shocking!
