At the "Ninshu Ware Gallery & Matcha Shop," produced by a pottery maker that purveyors the world heritage site Ninnaji Temple in Kyoto, you can experience a pottery landscape modeled after a dry landscape garden, and enjoy matcha tea from Ippodo and Japanese sweets from Senbon Gyokujuken. This is a plan that you can enjoy. At our store, which is a renovated Kyoto townhouse built over 100 years ago, you can easily experience Kyoto culture such as Kyoto's handmade pottery, Kyoto townhouses, matcha and Japanese sweets, and Karesansui.

This plan includes visiting a traditional Japanese townhouse, "Machiya," and participating in a tea ceremony in Kyoto wearing traditional costumes. First, after arriving, you will be quickly dressed in a kimono made of real silk. After that, you will be guided around the townhouse built in the Meiji period. Enjoy tea while listening to an explanation about the tea ceremony in the tea room. There is a traditional four-and-a-half-tatami tea room and a standing seat where you can sit on a chair, so anyone can enjoy tea. It handles about 480 kinds of seafood and 270 kinds of agricultural products, boasting an overwhelming selection. You can enjoy Japan's rich food culture to your heart's content at the vast Tsukiji Market. You can also learn about history from your guide. After that, you will visit Hama-rikyu Gardens, a garden created in the Edo period (more than 370 years ago). Depending on the season, colorful flowers bloom, allowing you to experience the natural beauty of Japan. You can also learn about Japanese etiquette while tasting matcha and Japanese sweets.
