電動ろくろを体験してみたいという小学生の息子と2人で参加しました。 タイトルにもあるように、自分で作ったというより、作っている先生の姿を見ていた時間がほとんどでした。 電動ろくろを使う前に、形をつくるところまでは辛うじて自分たちでやりましたが、基本的に手取り足取り教えてくれるスタイルではなく、アドバイスは全くありません。先生は常に作業などで動いておられて近くにおらず、終始息子と二人だけという環境でした。 電動ろくろの段階になり、先生がある程度作ったところから形を整えていくのですが、子どもなのでうまくいかず、「崩れた~」と子どもが声をあげても助けてくれるわけでもなく、息子が私の分まで崩してしまうと、自分で二人分を黙々と直されました。(いや、普通は直すところも一緒にするのが体験では?と内心思いつつ) 先生一人で作業しているあいだ、子どもは(余った土で)粘土遊び、私は電動ろくろはほとんど触ることもなく、作品を乾かすためのドライヤーをかけるよう言われて、それをしていただけでした(苦笑) あとで「こんな難しい作業、皆さんはちゃんとできているんですか?」と聞いたら、電動ろくろは難しいけど、手回しなら大丈夫だったと。じゃあ、先にアドバイスとしてそれぞれのメリット、デメリットを教えておいてくれませんか?(笑)と言いたくなりました。

写真にある通りに作れて色々な貝殻や飾り付けも出来楽しかったです。 スタッフの方も優しく、帰りには丁寧に包んでくれました。 でも接着剤としてグルーガンを使用しましたが、くっつきが悪く、持ち帰るとシーサーや飾りが取れてしまっていたので悲しかったです。 瞬間接着剤とかの方が良い気がしましたが、作ってる最中はグルーガンだとやり直しがきくのでそこら辺考えてのことなのかなとも思います。 持ち帰って来てから気付いたのですがこの作品を作るのに恐らく現地の流木を使用するのですが、私が選んだ流木の中の小さな穴からアリの巣が出来ていたのかアリがうじゃうじゃ出て来て家の中のあちらこちらにアリが、、とても大変でした、、 この作品から出ているのだと分かり、置いとくことは出来ないので外すはめになりました。 現地の物を使用していて、それもこの魅力の一つだと思いますがこれからこーゆーことがないように一つ一つ確認して提供して頂けたらと思いました。 このことがなければ雨でも関係なく出来るしとても楽しい時間でした。

体験料3500円に見合わない。机の上に紙とスタンプ、絵の具、クレヨンなどの用意がされていましたが、説明はわかりきったことをほんの10秒程度。どんなやり方があるか例を聞くと「うちのインスタ見て下さい」と。インスタを見ると扇子の投稿は1〜2のみ。実物の見本もありましたが、子供さんのお絵描き程度のものです。スタンプは種類も少なくスタンプ台の色は出ず、筆はバサバサ、扇子の下に当てるゴム台もサイズが全く合っておらず小さくて、段ができてスタンプもうまく押せませんでした。道具は汚れていて扇子にも付着してしまい残念としか言いようがない体験でした。

海外からの来客に日本の文化を体験して頂きたく伺いました。外交を兼ねていたので絶対に失礼がないよう、環境などもご事前にお電話でご相談させて頂いたにもかかわらず、誠に残念ながらお連れしたことを後悔する結果となりました。当日は7万7760円事前支払いで貸切りでしたが、日本での旅で来客の一人がお腹を壊してしまい、観光先でのトイレ探しや薬局などに苦労し、事前の連絡をいれたものの到着が遅れてしまいました。本体験を主催している方は、到着した時にはすでに苛立ちをあらわに、体調への配慮の言葉一つありませんでした。外交官など外賓も迎えているという体験場所は古く、狭く、散らかり、薄暗く、和文化を伝えるには不適切で、着付け体験の着物・帯ともにみたこともないほど安っぽく、また押入れの中の透明の衣装ケースに雑に押し込まれているという酷い扱いでした。英語での対応はしてくれましたが、不慣れな方が「少しゆっくり話していただけますか?」と訪ねたにも関わらず、早口で聞き取りにくい英語での対応を続けられ、伝える、ではなく、説明を聞けという印象でした。いくつかの体験を省略し、時間内で終われるよう主催者側へも謝罪の上、配慮をしたつもりですが、時間より随分早く出口へ案内され、早く終えて帰りたいという意図があからさまで、お連れしたゲストの方々も苦笑いの状態でした。和文化の伝承をされるなら改善をしていただけることを願います。

This is a full-scale archery experience plan supervised by archer Ando Kotaro, who has appeared on many TV shows and radio programs!
