The Goza Mesu Basket is a bamboo basket measuring approximately 20cm wide x 12cm deep x 14cm high, and is ideal for storing small items or serving food. After the experience, you will be treated to tea and sweets while we talk about bamboo, including videos and demonstrations.
All you have to do is weave the bamboo strips we have prepared. It is a simple weaving method called Gozame weaving, so even those without experience can try it with confidence.
After the bamboo baskets are completed, you will watch a video showing how the bamboo is cut from the mountains and how it is processed into strips, and you will hear a talk about bamboo, sometimes with demonstrations.
