The Meiji era playhouse Korakukan is still active for over 100 years and still performs regular performances (popular theater and other) today. In 1910, the Meiji era theater "Korakukan" was built as a welfare facility for the employees of the Kosaka Mine. The exterior of the building is Western-style, while the inside is purely Japanese. The most distinctive feature of this theater is its blend of Japanese and Western styles, which is rare for a theater. Staff dressed in black costumes will guide you through the Korakukan facility. This event is held throughout the year, and after observing insects in the forest (larvae from autumn to spring), parents and children will explore the creatures in the river. Put on gloves and go through the grass and turn over stones to catch fish and crayfish. Spring water and cold water points do not move, so you can catch them with your bare hands.
