・In fact, 95% of participants are beginners. Popular with people with dogs! Casual clothing OK! The good thing about kayaking is that anyone can easily paddle. The kayaks we use are stable "leisure kayaks" suitable for beginners, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind. "What is Lake Saiko?" ・Long ago, most of the huge lake was filled by lava flows from Mt. Fuji. Although it is located just west of the popular tourist destination Lake Kawaguchi, there are few tourists and artificial objects, and it is a very quiet and mysterious lake rich in nature. Facing the dynamically shaped "lava walls" and the "Aokigahara Jukai" that covers the southwest coast, the "Jukai Cruising" where you can enjoy kayaking while looking at the Jukai is popular. It is also known as the "Jukai Jungle Cruise". It is also a beautiful lake where the only "Kunimasu" live in Japan. It is no exaggeration to say that it is the lake with the most guided elements among the Fuji Five Lakes. What is the appeal of Lake Saiko? Unlike Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka, engine boats, power boats, and sightseeing boats are prohibited, so there are no artificial waves and it is calm. It can be enjoyed safely by beginners, those with children, and those with dogs. It is a lake right next to Lake Kawaguchi, so it is easy to access from your accommodation (15 minutes by car from Kawaguchiko Station). The water is clean and the environment is very quiet. Facing the sea of trees, you can see and touch the impressive lava belt that formed the sea of trees up close. There are many campsites around the lakeside, so you can join a tour while camping. It is the only lake in Japan where "Kunimasu" live. Depending on the course and the number of participants on the day, you can see Mt. Fuji. Cruise around Lake Saiko with a guide and enjoy the fun of kayaking, as well as the nature and sights of Lake Saiko. Seasonal characteristics: Spring The cold season is over, and the water temperature is still cold, but it is a comfortable season during the day. It is the season when it is easy to see Mt. Fuji covered in snow, so we often go on Mt. Fuji observation cruises. ・Summer Lake Saiko, located at an altitude of about 900 meters, is the best summer resort! Summer is the season for swimming in the lake! You can splash each other with water guns and jump into the water from a kayak! ・Autumn The temperature gradually drops and in early November, you can go on a cruise to see the autumn leaves. The mountains around Lake Saiko are covered with broadleaf forests, and the contrast between the green of Aokigahara Jukai and the autumn leaves of the surrounding mountains is amazing. ・Winter It is a cold season, but the charm of kayaking is that you can enjoy it if you take measures against the cold. You can also see Mt. Fuji covered in snow. [Time characteristics] ・9:30am and up This is the time when the wind starts to blow a little, but the conditions are easy to paddle, making it the most popular plan. The tour ends at 11:30am, so you can make it in time for lunch at a nearby store. ☆ Most popular! ・1pm and up This is the time when the wind is likely to blow, but it is our second most popular time, which is also convenient in terms of time. Many customers join before checking in at their accommodation. We are a small tour company, but we look forward to seeing you!

We had never done any glass blowing and our teachers made it easy and tons of fun throughout the whole process! They delivered the completed glass to our hostel that we were staying at the next week and everything was in perfect condition! I highly recommend this to anyone who is in the area!

Please come to our restaurant when you stop by the Fuji Five Lakes area. ☆★Introduction to the Houtou Making Experience☆★Houtou is a local dish of Yamanashi Prefecture that is loved by many people. There are few local foods that are as popular as this one, and for a long time, "oneri for breakfast, barley rice for lunch, and pumpkin hoto for dinner" seemed to have been the standard for daily life in the rural areas of Koshu. In 2007, it was selected as one of the "100 Best Local Dishes of Rural Areas" organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, which are known in farming, mountain and fishing villages all over Japan and are widely supported by the people. Unlike regular noodles, hoto noodles do not need to be left to rest. Therefore, you will make the noodles by hand from the powder state. It will be quite a voluminous meal, so please come hungry. We also offer a dyeing experience where you can experience the traditional Japanese dyeing technique using natural materials, which can be used as a set with the hoto experience. In the dyeing experience, we will carefully explain each step, so those who are new to dyeing and those who come with children can participate with peace of mind. The natural feel of natural materials and the fact that you make it with your own hands will create a one-of-a-kind product that no one else can imitate. ◆Recommended for◆Those who want to try famous Yamanashi Prefecture dishesThose who want to make local Yamanashi Prefecture dishesThose looking for activities at Lake Yamanaka or Lake KawaguchiThose who want to experience cooking with their childrenThose looking for an experience programThose who are having trouble sightseeing on rainy daysThose looking for sightseeing in English*Due to the nature of our reservation system, all reservations are by request, but in most cases we can accept reservations at the time you wish. At the local cooking experience class [Fujiya], we offer a hands-on experience of making "Yoshida Udon", a specialty of Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture! ☆★Introducing Fujiya☆★Nice to meet you. Our restaurant is located in Fuji Kawaguchiko Town, located in the Fuji Five Lakes area of Yamanashi Prefecture, and is holding a hands-on class where everyone can make and enjoy Yamanashi's local cuisine. We are open every day with the hope that tourists visiting Yamanashi will learn about Yamanashi's food culture and history, and that it will be one of the memories of their trip to Yamanashi. Our staff will carefully support you so that even beginners in cooking and small children can enjoy participating. We are used by many customers not only for small groups such as private trips, but also for group trips such as school trips, company trips, and sightseeing tours. Please come visit our store when you are in the Fuji Five Lakes area. ☆★Introducing Yoshida's udon making experience☆★Yoshida's udon is a local dish of udon that is loved around Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is an unusual type of udon that is characterized by its hard and chewy noodles and toppings such as horse meat and cabbage. It has also been selected as one of the ``Top 100 Local Dishes from Rural Areas, Mountains, and Fishing Villages,'' selected from among the local flavors of each region. Yoshida's udon noodles are characterized by thick and chewy noodles, toppings made with horse meat and cabbage, and a soup made with miso and soy sauce. This is the only place in Japan where you can eat it with a spiciness called suridane. Yoshida's udon was originally a home-cooked dish, so each restaurant has its own characteristics. For example, some restaurants use beef or horse meat, and the sides vary in hardness and length. Although there are general rules, there are no clear rules, so the freedom of making them may also be a characteristic of Yoshida's udon. In this plan, customers will make udon noodles from powder. Enjoy with hot soup and toppings such as cabbage, fried tofu, and wakame. The content is quite extensive, so please come hungry. Our store also offers a dyeing experience where you can experience traditional Japanese dyeing techniques using natural materials, which can be used as a set with the hotou experience. During the dyeing experience, we will explain each step in detail, so even those who are new to dyeing and those who come with children can participate with confidence. The natural feel of natural materials and the fact that you make it with your own hands create a one-of-a-kind product that no one else can imitate. ◆ Recommended for the following people ◆ Those who want to try Yamanashi Prefecture's famous dishes Those who want to try making Yamanashi Prefecture's local cuisine Those who are looking for activities at Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi Those who want to experience cooking with their parents and children Plan an experience For those who are having trouble sightseeing on a rainy day Those looking for sightseeing with English support *Due to our reservation system, all reservations are by request, but in most cases You can make a reservation at your desired time.
